Occasionally I will get the urge to add to my small collection of Icons. "Goddess" is probably my best yet. This piece took me three months to finish, on and off, and remians one of the most successful pieces I've done yet. Here, Angelina Jolie, seen as a "goddess" even among her peers, has been faithfully recreated in my own light. To add interest, I have draped her in traditional Celtic jewelry taken from actual archaeological findings from England, France, and Denmark, among other regions.
